Computer games and video games are electronic games that involve human interaction

with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. These games commonly

present simulated story worlds where emergent behavior occurs within the context of the game.

With the advent of widespread local area networking technologies and Internet based online

capabilities; the number of players in modern games can be 32 or higher, sometimes featuring

                                  integrated text or voice chat.

We believe that there are many games that are ease of accessibility, simple to understand

game play and quick to grasp rule sets. These games are good choice for our relaxing when

                                 after school, after work or during the break. Of course, playing games is just a kind of entertainment;

you’d better not indulge in games!

World of Warcraft: Blizzard has no plans to raise the free version of World of Warcraft's level cap above 20, producer

John Lagrave told CVG in an interview published today. He explained that Blizzard has examined the possibility and has

chosen to keep the free level cap where it is.

Blizzard introduced the free and unlimited, but level-capped World of Warcraft Starter Edition last June. Players eager to

progress further in the game need to pay the game's $15-per-month subscription fee.

previous announcements about Planetside 2 via Twitter include the delay of the beta, and the confirmation that it will be

available on Steam. A local server should make many Australian gamers happy, as it will eliminate a lot of lagging issues

Blizzard's Commendable Admission Highlights Diablo III's Flawed End-Game

Diablo II is a game that many players continued to play for years after its release, long after the point at which the vast

majority  games lose their audience. Even leading up to the release of Diablo III in May, there were still those playing the

game (and its expansion) after more than a decade. As a result, it seemed fair to expect Diablo III would be developed

accordingly, giving players enough to do to keep them busy for a very long time. As it turns out, that is not really the case.

Or, at least in the minds of many, the end-game experience in the long-awaited sequel is not anything to write home about.

                                         Surprisingly enough, Blizzard agrees.

Will GTA V's release date be announced at Gamescom 2012?

The first proper details surrounding the most anticipated game of 2012, Grand Theft Auto V, may finally emerge at

Europe's  biggest video game trade fair - Gamescom 2012.

Of course it is only rumours and speculation at the moment, but the evidence does suggest that we are likely to see

details surface about GTA V at Gamescom, including a release date.

The rumours spawn from the Gamescom 2012 official trailer, which shows a glimpse - albeit very brief glimpse - of GTA V

footage, and the fact that Rockstar's parent company Take-Two is listed as an exhibitor at the event.

Rockstar themselves haven't been specifically listed as an exhibitor, but it seems safe to assume that the presence of

Take-Two and the GTA V footage in the trailer, suggests some big news is on its way.

You can check out the trailer for yourself here, keep an eye out around the 1:50 mark!

Lego Batman 2 rises to top of UK chart

The latest Lego tie-in from Warner Bros. has superpowered its way to the top of theUKsales charts, with Lego Batman 2:

DC Super Heroes dominating both the multiformat and individual formats top 10.

The game is on almost every single format possible, but it's the Xbox 360 version that led the pack with 43 per cent of

sales. The PlayStation 3 was next on 25 per cent (not including special edition sales), followed by the Wii on 15 per cent.

The Nintendo DS version of the game made it as high as number 15 in the individual formats chart, with the 3DS version at

number 28. The only other new release to make it into the top 40 was expansion pack Civilization V: Gods & Kings, which got

as far as number 16 in the multiformat chart and 13 in the individual formats chart.

That's pretty impressive for a minor expansion to a two year old turn-based strategy game, although it also hints at how

generally low sales currently are in the UK.

This Friday sees a number of prominent new releases, but it's something of a last hurrah before we settle into the annual

summer games drought. That means the likes of The Amazing Spider-Man, Spec Ops: The Line, London 2012, and The

Ratchet & Clank Trilogy will have to last you until the games industry wakes up again in mid August.

IW "on the fence" over leaked Modern Warfare 3 'Terminal' map

According to reports, Modern Warfare 3 players spotted two new maps 'Shipbreaker' and 'Terminal' turn up on in-game

                                      listings over the weekend.

Videos have appeared online showing the maps appearing in listings, seemingly offering a premature hint at some upcoming

DLC.But don't get too excited yet - they may never see the light of day. The game's exec producer at Infinity Ward, Mark

Rubin, responded to question via Twitter, saying that the surprise appearance of the two maps was due to "Preparation for

upcoming maps".He went on to say, "Terminal is still on the fence but we are ready if we can launch that one."

Some took that as confirmation of Terminal's release at least, but Rubin went on to re-assert, "I said it was still on the fence

and that we would launch it if we can," before dishing out a few "no comment" replies to anyone prying for more info.

It is speculated that Terminal could be a rehash of the Modern Warfare 2 map of the same name. Does that sound good to

Activision Prepping Angry Birds HD For Consoles

Speaking to The Escapist, an Activision representative reportedly confirmed the move after the publication

noticed a glimpse of the game on one of Activision's sizzle reels at the publisher's E3 2012 booth.

"We'll have some news for you in about two weeks," Activision told The Escapist. "Wait until you see Angry

                                   Birds on consoles in HD."

Later, Activision community spokesperson Dan Amrich also confirmed the news via his community blog, saying,

"Activision is doing some form of Angry Birds on consoles. It's the teasiest of the teases, but it is official."

In May this year, Angry Birds developer Rovio Mobile today announced that games in the bird-flinging, pig-destroying

portable strategy game franchise have been downloaded more than 1 billion times.

The developer also announced it is working on a new game titled Amazing Alex to be released later this year.

At today’s EA press conference, there were a couple of interesting announcements. We learned that the game

will be getting an update soon that will include a large amount of new, playable content. This will include a new planet

to explore, a new space battle, a higher level cap and various other updates.

Most interestingly, however, was the announcement that The Old Republic will be free-to-play up to level 15 starting

in July. This is a huge move for the game, as many members of the Bioware team working on this game were recently

laid off. This appears to be a major strategy to get more players and could indicate that the game isn’t doing as well as

EA hoped. If they really are losing more and more players, there is the very real possibility that the game could become

a true free-to-play game in the future.
