I bought the optional hood for long spells outside mainly clearing the driveway and then removed it to keep in the car. I measured my size and the fit is just right with a heavy sweater, if not a little snug. I can wear a thin top or short sleeves and be comfortable. My bust is about 42in and it buttons nicely.
